20-year-old Bastien Tronchon, to everyone’s surprise, won the 3rd stage of the Tour de Burgos in Villarcayo. Trained in AG2R-Citroën for several days, ahead of Pavel Sivakov on the track.

Despite his young age and inexperience, Bastien Tronchon did not hide. At just 20 years old, trained since August 1 in the AG2R-Citroën team, the Frenchman won the 3rd stage burgos tower after a break of more than 100 km.

Starting ahead of all the difficulties of the day, Tronchon was joined by the leaders of the ascent of Picon Blanco, including his compatriot Pavel Sivakov and Colombian Miguel Angel Lopez. He managed to hold out before isolating himself again in the final in the company of one Sivakov.
