Police call in a cowboy to rescue a runaway cow on a US highway.

Well, there’s something you don’t see every day. Michigan police sought the help of experts to capture a cow that had run onto a highway.

It seems like an obvious solution, but calling in a cowboy to rescue a runaway cow isn’t something you’d expect to see on a major highway.

State Police in Michigan, USA, were faced with this exact scenario when a rampaging cow found its way onto the busy Interstate 75 approximately halfway between Detroit and Flint in the southeast of the state.

According to publications in Twitter from the michigan state policea team of wranglers “made up of men and women comparable to the cast of yellow stone“He tried to capture the cow that had become trapped in a gravel pit.

The team was unsuccessful, and the cow made its way onto the busy highway. Images from the Michigan police Twitter account show cars speeding by while the cow is on the road. Fortunately, a cowboy on horseback was able to tie up the animal and return it to safety, and Twitter posts downplayed the situation.

Finally, after a lot of fooling around, the creature was captured and removed from the highway. The cops reopened the highway and things quickly went back to normal. The bovine was not collected and is back in the pasture with a story to tell all the other cattle.

The police uploaded a video of the action as if to suggest you need to see it to believe it!

Neither the cow nor bystanders were injured in the incident.
