US: Tech-enabled hospitality company Life House has been selected to manage three independent hotels in Texas.
Hotel Dryce (Fort Worth) and The Flats at St. Mary (San Antonio) will now be operated by Life House, with a third hotel to be revealed soon.
The newly developed Hotel Dryce, located near Fort Worth’s cultural district, is owned by Jonathan Morris and Allen Mederos. The name of the property is inspired by the former operation of the building as a dry ice warehouse. Now it has 21 keys and a lobby bar.
The Flats at St. Mary is a renovation of a historic building in San Antonia. Owners Frank and Shelly Markey, along with Craig Glendenning of Bright Lakes Real Estate, transformed the site into a 35-bedroom luxury hotel.
As a result of the new partnerships, Life House is targeting Texas as a strategic growth area.
House of life lately added two hotels in California to his portfolio: the Royal Hotel in Long Beach and the Rose Hotel in Sonoma County.
According to its website, Life House will open its first non-US hotel “soon” in Bali. Other marked locations include Brooklyn, Miami Beach, and Palm Springs. These properties belong to the group’s own brand hotels.
