Kate Middleton can do it all when it comes to fashion.
The Royal has dazzled in formal wear, favoring tailored frock coats and dramatic dresses, but also knows how to keep things casual with country attire as the situation calls for.
This laid-back side of Princess Catherine’s style is on full display in a recently released photo, posted to the official Instagram of her and Prince William to celebrate the couple’s 12th anniversary.
Posing on bikes, the couple are all smiles, both wearing relaxed shirts and jeans in the lush British countryside.
The photo was taken by environmental photographer Matt Porteous, who perfectly captured Wales’ relationship in a behind-the-scenes look.
Kate’s outfit in particular was a lesson in dressing off-duty, and it’s a look we’ve seen before, too.
The Princess of Wales rocks a broderie anglaise top and simple denim skinny jeans in the snap, just like in the family’s Christmas card for 2022.

Although it’s already sold out, there are similar versions available if you’d like to recreate the look. High street is abuzz with embroidery and scalloped tops for spring, and puff sleeves, which add an on-trend touch to a garment, are everywhere right now.
Kate paired the top with indigo skinny jeans, proving skinny jeans aren’t resigned to fashion junk.
It’s all about finding what works for your shape and the overall ensemble. Skinny jeans are a great way to offset a bulky top half, for example, or to accentuate your legs and butt.
The deep blue hue worn by the mother of three also complements the white jersey, with a pair of Superga sneakers to finish off the look.
Princess Catherine has long been a fan of this sneaker brand, joining celebrities like Emily Ratajkowski, Ariana Grande and Priyanka Chopra Jonas who have all been spotted at Superga.
While nude pumps have become a signature look for Kate, it seems she prefers something more comfortable when she’s off duty. And at under £60 a pair, this is a versatile shoe option that doesn’t require a real budget.
