
Capcom has revealed that it will soon update its remakes of resident evil 2 and resident evil 3 to address recent issues that have arisen with each title. This last weekend, resident Evil fans discovered Those two RE2 and RE3 on Steam it lost its ray tracing options for one reason or another. While this removal of the graphics feature led to widespread confusion, Capcom has now signaled that it will fix the issue soon enough.
In a statement shared on the official Resident Evil Twitter account today, Capcom made it clear that it is aware of the ray tracing issues that have been plaguing both. resident evil 2 and resident evil 3 in personal computer. Capcom went on to say that it has confirmed the issue associated with not only the absence of ray tracing in the graphics settings, but also the absence of 3D audio. The Japanese publisher later said that a new update is in the works to rectify all these issues, but did not provide a release window for the patch.
“To all resident evil 2 [and] resident evil 3 users on Steam. We are aware of a current issue with the ray tracing option not appearing in the graphics and presets menu,” Capcom said in its social media post. We’ll address this in a future update and apologize for any inconvenience!

Overall, this has been a perplexing situation to watch development in, as it’s rare to see games simply lose features that were already present. What caused this issue in the first place hasn’t been made public, but either way, it’s been good to see that Capcom has at least responded quickly to the matter and will look to provide a fix to this ordeal soon enough. .
