On Monday, Bimbo Ademoye was in awe after scoring 3 nominations at the 2023 AMVCA.
The comedic act had earned nominations for Best Actress in a Comedy, Best Online Social Content Creator and Best Actress in a Drama.
Sharing the good news on her Instagram page, Bimbo Ademoye reflected on her journey, noting how her ‘Iya Barakat’ persona, which started as a joke, has taken her to greater heights.
Bimbo, who has been ill after her trip to Cape Town, revealed that she woke up to her phone on fire.
Overwhelmed by the love she received from her fans and lovers, she appreciated them.
“I’ve been a bit under the weather. Cape Town cold not be here. So I went to bed early last night. I woke up this morning to my phone on fire. Thank you @africamagic for the nomination.
