Harry Potter Quidditch Game Announced, Tryouts Begin Soon



Hogwarts Legacy did not include a Quidditch component, but fans of Harry Potter and the sport in the universe do get a Quidditch-specific set in the form of Quidditch Champions.

From the developer Unbroken Studios, Quidditch Champions appears to be a Quidditch game with stylized graphics. Pre-launch tests of the game are being prepared and fans can register on the Quidditch Champions website. The tests are described as “limited” in nature.

According to GameRantDescribed as a “fast-paced online multiplayer game,” Quidditch Champions will hold its playtests on April 21 and 22. The game is coming to PC and consoles and has reportedly been in development for several years. Players will be able to create and customize their character, but that’s all WB Games has confirmed so far about the title.

Unbroken Studios is co-developer of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League along with the main studio Rocksteady. Quidditch Champions and Kill the Justice League share a publisher at WB Games.

Quidditch Champions follows the last Harry Potter game, Hogwarts Legacy, which launched in February and was a huge commercial success. Is old 12 million copies and generated $850 million in revenue during its first two weeks.

The game hails from WB Games, Portkey Games, and Wizard World, the name of the larger Harry Potter universe run by controversial author JR Rowling. She has made transphobic statements. In other Harry Potter news, WB Discovery has just announced a 10 Year Harry Potter Reboot TV Series which will be broadcast on the streaming platform Max.
