Katy Perry, the popular American singer, will perform at the Coronation concert at Windsor Castle, which Charles and Camilla will attend, along with Kate and William. Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli and Welsh opera star Sir Bryn Terfel will also perform as a duet as part of the three-day celebrations for King Charles’ coronation. The concert will be broadcast live on the BBC and will include a drone display, soul pianist Alexis Ffrench and singer-songwriter Freya Ridings. The event will also feature a 70-piece orchestra and “house band”, the Massed Bands of the Household Division and the Countess of Wessex String Orchestra. The concert received a lot of attention after the announcement that Lionel Richie and Take That’s Gary Barlow, Howard Donald and Mark Owen would also be performing. The concert will be broadcast live on the BBC and will feature other stars to be revealed in the coming weeks.
