Old Trafford icon Paul Scholes has predicted the outcome of Manchester United’s rescheduled European Cup match against Sevilla.
The first leg ended 2-2 at Old Trafford after the Red Devils gave away a two-goal lead in the quarter-final clash.
Speaking after the match, Scholes believes that the game in Spain will be fifty percent based on Sevilla’s record in Europe.
Sevilla first participated in European competition in 1957, entering the European Cup, and have competed in twenty-nine seasons of European competition since then, winning a record six Europa League titles.
Manchester United scored two own goals from Maguire and Malacia and now drew 2-2 with Sevilla.
“I think they can score goals there if Anthony Martial is fit and ready to play. Anthony was pumped up again tonight.” he told BT Sport.
They can still go there and win, but you have to respect Sevilla for what they have done in European competition. I would say at this point, it’s a 50/50 game.”
