The secretary general of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr. Justin Frimpong Kodua, has said that in the future, his party will equally respond to the communication from the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC)
According to Mr. Justin Frimpong Kodua, his party’s decision is to prevent the NDC from misleading Ghanaians with their well-known party propaganda.
“Because of what happened before, going forward when it comes to the NDC, nothing will be omitted when it comes to the NDC. We will respond to what they say”
“As Secretary General, I will not allow those political talks to happen before we repent in 2024. Therefore, we will respond to everything, if I have to write more letters as Secretary General, I will respond with letters. We will stop any attempt by the NDC to throw dust in the eyes of Ghanaians.” Mr. Justin Frimpong Kodua promised in an interview with Kumasi-based Hello FM monitored by MyNewsGH.com.
In response to former Chairman John Dramani Mahama who claimed that the NPP is afraid of him and also to a party statement describing Mr Bryan Acheampong’s election comments as treason, he promised a proper response to both.
President John Dramani Mahama in one of his speeches during his tour of the Eastern Region made it clear that the PNP is afraid of him.
“I wouldn’t have contested if I was sure my contenders for the NDC presidential job could take on the NPP and win the 2024 general election, but we can’t take the chance. The only person the PNP fears among the NDC members is me, John Dramani Mahama.”
“They [NPP] They can’t sleep when they hear my name. That is why they have been calling a new person. Are you the ones telling us what to do? It’s none of your business, I think God has already given us the power, ”he said.
The NDC Secretary General, Mr. Fiifi Fiavi Kwetey, in a statement responding to Bryan Acheampong’s comment, called for his arrest and went further to describe it as treason.
However, in his interview, Justin Kodua insisted that he will use the same platforms that the NDC uses to spread falsehoods to discredit them.
“If he talks on the radio, I will also talk on the radio, when he appears on television, I will also appear on television. We are not going to let the NDC fool the Ghanaians in 2024,” Justin Kodua said.
