In recent months, PowerWash Simulator fans have been treated to some exciting new content, and it looks like there’s a lot more on the way. Today, the developer FuturLab andreleased a roadmap for the game, teasing plans for the rest of 2023. Much of the roadmap remains a blur, but FuturLab has stated that the slots covered will be revealed in the coming months. In Q2, fans can expect to see free content via the 1.2.0 update, as well as paid DLC. A physical version will also be available for Switch, PS4, PS5 and .
The roadmap can be found below.
Fans won’t have to wait long for new content to come to the game as the free update 1.2.0 will go live on April 18. This update will contain the first part of what is called “The Muckingham Files” series. The Muckingham Files will take players to new areas set in the same universe as the main game, but with new characters, stories, and more., the free content will continue to take place in the existing world, while the paid content will “transport you outside of the Muckingham universe to all sorts of exciting new places.” It’s unclear if it could mean additional crossovers, as we’ve seen with PowerWash Simulatorcontent based on final fantasy 7 and tomb Raider.
Nintendo Switch fans should be informed that the “physical release” announced today for PowerWash Simulator it’s actually just a code on a box, and no physical cartridge will be included. Essentially what this means is that fans will be buying an empty box that is actually no different than the currently available digital version. PowerWash Simulator It’s not the first Switch game to get this treatment, and these types of physical releases have generated a lot of frustration among Nintendo fans. There are plenty of Switch collectors waiting for physical releases rather than buying games digitally, and today’s announcement is already causing some disappointment!
