Dr. Kwabena Duffuor’s acceptability and leadership qualities among Ghanaians have sent the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) into shock and panic mode as it has become a colossus in politics, claims a member of his team campaign.
Dr Duffuor is campaigning and selling his ideas to NDC delegates to get them into the 2024 election. Even before then, his team says overwhelming cross-sectional support of Ghanaians is sending fears to the NPP affecting their election of a candidate in the future.
Former NDC national communications officer Solomon Nkansah cites Duffour’s record and easy-going demeanor as a selling point for him winning the upcoming election.
“Today’s NPP panics when they see Duffour’s acceptability rate, they thought the man wasn’t going anywhere regarding what was happening in the NDC, but now they are reviewing their strategy and approach.”
“Dr. Duffour’s experiences cannot be compared to Mahama’s, by no means. Duffour may be ‘testing’ me, but he better manage Ghana. He has some track record. He arrived with Mills and gave better figures under the economy, he is a businessman, he came to give lectures in Legon, he was one of the best governors of the Bank of Ghana ”
“He has done so much at home to deserve to make Ghana great again in the eyes of all other nations. She has the dream of Ghana, for which all Ghanaians will be happy. We are sending Ghana to the promised land like Nkrumah did, like work and happiness,” he assured.
