Running for the hills! Jana Kramer recalled her “embarrassing” blind date with brody jenner – and she didn’t hold back about the embarrassing experience.
speaking to heidi montag On the Monday, April 11 episode of her “Whine Down” podcast, the country singer, 39, told The Hills alum, 36, that the first time they met was when Kramer was on a date. with Jenner, 39. The podcast host and Princes of Malibu alum had a double dinner with Montag and her now-husband. spencer pratt at a Los Angeles nightclub circa 2007.
Kramer joked about the awkward night, calling his time with Jenner the “worst blind date ever.”
The “absolutely worst,” the “Why You Want It” singer emphasized, noting that the two weren’t “vibing at all” and she left in disgust, but not before accidentally bumping into a mirror.
“He said something to me and I was like, ‘Ugh, I’m out,’” Kramer recalled, laughing as he recalled his next move. “I am marching towards the exit sign… I did not know… it was the reflection [of the exit sign] in the mirror, so I crashed into the mirror.”
Fortunately for both Jenner and Kramer, the two have moved on romantically since their awkward date.
The “Voices” singer, who had already been married and divorced from her first husband Michael Gambino in the early 2000s before meeting the reality star, then married two more times. she was married to the actor johnathon schaech from 2010 to 2011 and former NFL star mike causin from 2015 to 2021. (Kramer and Caussin, 36, share a 7-year-old daughter, Jolie, and a 4-year-old son, Jace.)
Kramer and Caussin’s rocky romance played out in the public eye for years before the Michigan native finally broke up with the former football tight end, who admitted to cheating on her multiple times during their marriage. Despite seeking treatment for her addiction to her sex, she relapsed several times.
“I have fought with all of you. I have loved a lot. I have forgiven. I have put the work. I have given everything I have, and now I have nothing more to give. I just can’t fight anymore. Time to heal,” Kramer shared via Instagram in April 2021, announcing her split from Caussin. “Thank you for all the love, heart and support, in so many ways you have struggled on this journey alongside me, and for that I am grateful. I will always encourage you to keep up the good fight, but you cannot fight alone. ????.”
After another difficult relationship with ex Ian Schinelli — the couple separated in April 2022 after six months of dating — Kramer began dating the Scottish soccer manager allan russellconfirming their relationship in January.
“I don’t know if this is my person forever. …But, like, I’m not going to push love away just because I’ve been hurt before. I’ll accept it,” the One Tree Hill alum shared on her podcast at the time. “I’m going to have fun. And if it doesn’t work, well, you know what? I will learn many lessons. And I had a lot of fun along the way.”
Russell, 42, apparently met the Kramer children for the first time over Easter weekend, and the actress shared several snaps of her boyfriend Saturday, April 8, and Sunday, April 9, at events with the children.
