Jeffrey Guterman, a retired American mental health counselor, criticized supporters of Nigerian President-elect Bola Tinubu.
According to him, those who praise the former Lagos helmsman should not expect anything to change in the country.
The doctor was reacting to the response he received from Tinubu’s supporters when he denounced Tinubu as a suspected drug dealer.
Guterman, a strong supporter of Peter Obi, said it was not about politics but about what Nigeria could earn in the four years.
“In responses to my tweets that Tinubu is a narcotics dealer, some of his followers say things like ‘we like it that way.’
“Have some respect for yourselves, followers of Tinubu. This BAT will not help you. It will only continue to destroy Nigeria,” he wrote.
