Puspakom will be celebratingservice for private vehicles from today April 10 to April 23, 2023 in conjunction with the upcoming Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebrations, it announced in a statement.
Vehicle owners who wish to receive the Voluntary Vehicle Inspection service for their vehicles can do so without an appointment at any Puspakom point of sale throughout the country from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with the exception of Puspakom branches. Shah Alam, Taman Bukit Maluri and Pasir Gudang.
To further enliven the campaign, Puspakom will hold a simple contest along with the deployment of mobile inspection units for free VVIs at selected locations; these will be at Wisma DRB-Hicom and MMU Cyberjaya (for staff only) on April 11, at Setia Alam Impian on April 12, and at Lotus’s Ara Damansara on April 19. 4:00 p.m.
The VVIs will focus on the safety-related aspects of a vehicle, such as brakes, tires, side skid tests, suspension, emissions, lights, undercarriage and body and window tints, among others, Puspakom said.
The free inspection campaign in conjunction with the Hari Raya Aidilfitri season aims to help vehicle owners to know the condition of their vehicles through inspections with computerized teams at Puspakom, which can then inform owners of required maintenance, said Puspakom CEO Mohammed. The campaign is also one of Puspakom’s efforts to raise public awareness of the importance of vehicle safety, especially during the festive season, Shukor added.
