According to a video posted by blogger Edgar Obare on Saturday, April 1, Njeri’s last moments were allegedly captured by her fiancé, Michael Macharia Njiri (aka DJ Brownskin).
Njeri, wearing a baseball jacket and a gold and blue dyed suit, is shown carrying a cup into which he pours poison and then immediately begins consuming. He then starts walking before collapsing on a sofa.
“Tell my kids I love them,” he murmurs. “…nawapenda”.
She then informs her two children, Travis Njiri and Cherine Mumbi Arrian, that she is about to pass away. A: “Mimi no-one.”
As he does so, the person filming the video (we couldn’t independently confirm it was Dj Brownskin as we claimed) captures every second and orders the maid to bring him a glass of milk.
The DJ contacted his housekeeper after she passed out and told her to give the woman milk.
However, all attempts to save his life failed. In the arms of her husband, she passed away.
Netizens have encouraged the DCI to arrest the DJ.

The late Njeri and Dj Brownskin resided at the Kariobangi South Estate in Nairobi. She was the sister of Shawn Mwaura and was born on December 23, 1989, to Albert Mwangi and Irene Mumbi.
Dj Brownskin wrote a lengthy Facebook post on Njeri’s birthday, December 23 last year, referring to her as his “greatest treasure.”
He wrote,
“I adore you with everything I have. For this life that I am living, I will celebrate you day after day. All the memories we make will be a part of me forever and I will cherish every moment forever… From earth and beyond, happy birthday, love.”
