The Dungeons & Dragons movie brings together the cast of fans and geeks for a fun promo

Before the release of Dungeons and Dragons: Honor Among Thievesa amazing promo for the movie has been released. In a fit of meta-amusement, three members of the monsters and The cast of geeks have assembled for the video. presenting John Francis Daley returning as Sam Weir, Samm Levine as Neal Schweiber and Martin Starr like bill haverchuck this reunion video has some layers. It not only brings together some of the characters from the show that actually played Dungeons and Dragons in the series, but John Francis Daley is also one of the directors of the new film. “It was my favorite episode, not because of the Dungeons & Dragons component, but because we got to see Jason Segel dance in a disco,” Daley recalled in a recent interview with UPROXX. “Then I picked it up as an adult about two years before we started this movie. And I played a campaign with my adult friends and I played it as a kid. I remember the game being very different from anything I’d ever played. My older brother is a Dungeon Master. You just make it up, you do things on graph paper, you create a dungeon. It was really cool for me.”

Ahead of the film’s release, the film is already getting rave reviews from critics. As of this writing, the film has a 91% approval rating on review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes, and has a “Certified Fresh” distinction.’s own Christian Hoffer gave the film a 4 out of 5writing that it “captures a bit of the joy and fun that comes from playing a Dungeons and Dragons game, staying faithful (but not too serious) to the source material. Realizing that the strength of Dungeons and Dragons It’s not the rules of the game or the worlds that support it, but the intrinsic fun that comes with getting into fantasy mischief with the people you like.”

Hasbro’s adaptation Dungeons and Dragons assembles a party that includes the bard Edgin Darvis (star trek‘s Chris Pine), the exiled barbarian Holga Kilgore (x fast‘s Michelle Rodriguez), Slow Aging Paladin Xenk Yendar (Bridgerton‘s Regé-Jean Page), the wild magical wizard Simon Aumar (Pokémon: Detective Pikachu‘s Justice Smith), the tiefling druid Doric (HE‘s Sophia Lillis), and rogue con artist Forge Fitzwilliam (Operation Fortune: Ruse de Guerreby Hugh Grant).
