The Minister of State for Labor and Employment, Festus Keyamo, has reacted to the petition presented by Peter Obi of the Labor Party, LP, in the presidential election petition court.
His reaction is contained in a post via his verified Twitter account on Wednesday.
Recall that Obi officially filed a lawsuit on Tuesday with the election petitions court challenging Bola Tinubu’s declaration of the All Progressives Congress, APC, as elected president.
The former governor of Anambra state wants the Court to annul Tinubu’s declaration as the winner of the February 25 presidential elections for non-compliance with the constitution and the electoral act, among others.
However, Keyamo said that all deceit, lies and misinformation on simple and clear issues would be busted in court.
He wrote: “I am excited about the issues raised in those Ballot Petitions. All the hoaxes, lies, misinformation and misinformation on otherwise very simple and clear issues are about to be busted by our Law Lords. Whoever argues after that should move to another planet.
“Nigerians will finally see the big difference between the calm, dispassionate adjudication of issues and all the hoopla caused by talkative spokesmen tossing and falling on stage, ignorant TV presenters turned debaters, ill-informed documentaries, illiterate tweeters and some Hijabi moms dancing.”
