Popular Nigerian singer, Habeeb Okikiola, known professionally as Portable, has revealed that what he wants to achieve at the peak of his career is to win a Grammy Award.
He made it known while being interviewed by the content creator, Timi Agbaje, since he said that he wants to win an international award, not the national ones.
The controversial artist said he wants to be declared the winner of the Best Artist from Africa category when the time comes.
Laptop He further said that he rates the Grammy and BET awards above those of his country and the reason is that it is purely on merit and not bought or obtained as a result of a connection as is done in Nigeria.
The Zazuu star further alleged that the Nigerian entertainment industry has a constituency that favors its members, but believes that he can achieve his dream because “fate has no competition.”
Talking about a woman you would like to work with, Laptop mentioned France-based Nigerian singer Asa.
