Lakeville North 51, Rosemount 49: Trinity Wilson hit the game-winning basket with less than a minute to go before Lakeville North (13-5) passed Rosemount (13-4) and cemented itself atop the South Suburban Conference.
The Panthers now lead the Irish by two games in conference play. A Rosemount victory would have tied the teams for first place.
It was a racing game to conclude Tuesday’s contest. The host Panthers led by seven with less than six minutes to play, but 10 straight points from Rosemount briefly put the Irish on top. A 3-pointer by Lakeville North’s Haley Bryant, her only basket of the game, tied the game at 49 before Wilson’s deciding points. Emy Wolkow led the team with 13 points.
Ava Thompson and Riley Ang each scored 16 for Rosemount.

Hill-Murray 4, Holy Angels 0: Chloe Boreen scored a pair of goals as Hill-Murray (19-2-1) defeated the Holy Angels (19-4-1) on the road in a battle of two of the best in the state . teams
Hill-Murray entered the game as the No. 2 ranked team in Class 2A. Holy Angels was the No. 2 team in Class 1A.
The game was scoreless for much of the first period before Boreen scored on the power play with just under three minutes left in the period. Hill-Murray added another just after the start of the second period and never looked back. Hill-Murray outshot the Saints Angels 38-19.

St. Croix Prep 61, St. Croix Lutheran 58: It took two overtimes to decide the matchup between the cross-town rivals as St. Croix Prep (6-10) narrowly edged out St. Croix Lutheran (8-8) on the road.
Christian Nelson of St. Croix Prep led all scorers with 21 points. Patrick Brown and Cade Hanson added 11 and nine points, respectively, as St. Croix Prep played to just seven players in Tuesday’s grueling matchup. Matej Brugos scored a team-high 17 points for St. Croix Lutheran

Lakeville North 5, Hastings 2: Tyler Arneson’s hat-trick powered Lakeville North (8-11) out of a 2-0 deficit as the Panthers scored five unanswered goals to beat Hastings (12-6-1).
Mark DeNoyer and Brody Larsen each scored for Hastings as the Raiders led by two late in the first period.
A power play goal by Gavin Griffin put the Panthers on the board midway through the second period, and Arneson scored twice in the final five minutes of the period to take the lead. Arneson’s final goal with just over five minutes remaining gave Lakeville North the three-goal lead.
Lakeville North’s defense was strong all night, allowing Hastings just 16 shots on goal. The win snapped a four game losing streak for Lakeville North.
Despite the loss, Hastings has won five of his last seven games.
