Iron Galaxy announced that the Rumbleverse will shut down on February 28 at 8am PT / 11am ET. Season 2 will also be the last season of the game.
“This project has been a labor of love to create a new experience in a popular and highly competitive genre of games,” says Iron Galaxy in a declaration. “If you’ve been a part of that journey, we thank you, whether you jumped into the first playtest after our reveal, or just shot out of the canyon for the first time.”
Later, on January 31, a final update will be released that will shut down the in-game store and open up the entire Rumbleverse experience to players. All players will receive the current Battle Pass and will earn double XP. Additional accessories and emotes will also be unlocked for free.
Players who spent money in Rumbleverse will be able to receive a refund for the amount spent in-game. This includes those who purchased the Rumbleverse Battle Pass or Brawlla Bills. A full FAQ page with information on how to process refunds will be shared soon.
Rumbleverse was first revealed at the Game Awards 2021 and was released again on August 18, 2022.
