I can be very demanding with myself Sneakers, which is why I haven’t bought a new pair in what seems like forever. But I know that comfortable and stylish sneakers are the mainstays of the closet and that I should fill my shelves with the ones that I want to wear 24/7. While there’s been a lot of buzz surrounding celebrity-loved, sustainable sneaker brand Cariuma, I didn’t get a chance to try them on until recently. TL; DR: Boy am I glad I finally got my hands on a pair.

The brand kindly sent me the Catiba Pro sneakers in Black Contrast/Ivory, and let’s just say they definitely live up to the hype created by A-listers and buyers alike. Pete Davidson, Helen Mirren, Jon Hamm, Robert Downey Jr. and Whitney Port are Cariuma fansAnd I guess it’s my turn to finally join the club.

Let me start with the fact that I’ve been fixated on Velcro sneakers for quite some time and have been hesitant to branch out into other styles. When I saw the Catiba Pros, I was immediately drawn to them and that’s probably because they were giving off serious skater girl vibes. Some days I like to dress super feminine, other days I like to copy the fashion aesthetic of off-duty models, and other days I go for an oversized, relaxed fit. He Catiba Professionals They definitely help me reach my goal of looking like a cool and sassy skater girl, which is why I’ve been wearing them endlessly with baggy jeans and sweats.

Not only these sneakers Look ok but so do they to feel extremely comfortable. In fact, they are much more comfortable than the Velcro slippers I hold near and dear. He Catiba Pro characteristics bio-based cork inserts and mamona oil and fully non-slip natural rubber soles. As soon as I put these slippers on I could feel the arch support and knew I could rock them all day. As usual, he was right. The viscoelastic insole is everything. FYI I ordered mine in a 6 and I would say they run pretty true to size. However, if you prefer your toes to have a little more room to wiggle, feel free to go up a half size.

A quick little update: I’ve had these shoes for three months and they’ve become my favorite sneakers. I like them so much that I reach for these kicks. upon my faithful velcro. I honestly never thought this day would come. I wear them while I run all my errands, to the office, and when I travel. If that doesn’t tell you how much I love these shoes, I don’t know what will.

If you’re looking for a stylish new pair of sneakers that really provide ample support, try nothing more than the Catiba Pro of cariuma.

continuing with the design of the Catiba Pro, the upper is made of triple stitched, premium suede and organic cotton canvas, while the lining is made of cotton canvas. Not to mention, the laces are made from recycled plastic and engraved metal aglets. My shoes have held up pretty well so far, and I definitely see them staying for a long time.

Now I know I said these sneakers help me live my skater girl dreams in a purely sartorial way, but you can actually wear them while skateboarding. The raw natural gum rubber outsole has a sticky grip and herringbone pattern that ensures the shoe sticks to the board. Basically, you can wear these sweet sneakers for any type of activity or occasion.

I couldn’t stop mentioning some of Cariuma Sustainability Initiatives. The brand launched its own reforestation program in the homeland of its founders, Brazil. That means that with every pair of shoes you buy, Cariuma will plant two trees. There’s a lot more to highlight, like their eco-friendly packaging and zero-carbon shipping, but I’ll finish so you can order your shoes now.

Buy the Catiba Pro sneakers in 15 different colorways and in sizes 5-13. My suggestion: Pick a pair in neutral tones that can go with any outfit, and a more vibrant pair that could make for a bold shoe. Either way, you can’t go wrong.Sign up for the StyleCaster shopping newsletter
