Console edition versions of CATAN
With CATAN launching on consoles this February and pre-orders starting February 3, 2023, you may be wondering which version to order. There are two different versions: Standard and Deluxe. However, as long as you pre-order, regardless of the version, you can enjoy early access to the game five days before the worldwide release!
The biggest difference between Standard and Deluxe is that you can play five board layouts that were used in CATAN World Championships in single player and multiplayer by selecting Quick Play as the game style. We recommend splurging on the Deluxe version if you’re already a fan of the board game, or if you like the idea of being able to play on preset maps.
CATAN: Console Edition – Standard
The standard version for CATAN: Console Edition will retail for $19.99, £16.99 (Xbox) / £15.99 (Playstation) and €19.99. You can pre-order starting on February 3, 2023, and if you do, you’ll be able to play the game five days before the worldwide release.
CATAN: Console Edition – Deluxe
The Deluxe version includes a custom dice layout and hex frame, access to five CATAN World Championship board layouts (taken from real events!) that can be played in both single and multiplayer modes. If you pre-order the Deluxe version of CATAN: Console Edition, you will receive a 10% discount. The retail price of the Deluxe version is as follows: $24.99, £19.99 and €24.99.
