Destiny 2 will allow daily deep vision weapon focus until the end of the season

With just over a month to go before fate 2is next Lightfall expansion releases, Bungie is giving players some welcome benefits to prepare for the new content. One of these will allow players to focus daily on the red-bordered Deepsight weapons from each of their seasonal vendors. Iron Banner will also grant increased reputation gains when it returns in late January.

In an update planned for next week, Bungie will shift its weekly Deepsight focus to a daily rotation, meaning players will be able to get four guaranteed red-bordered weapon drops per day. Daily Focus will be available through HELM vendors from Season of the Risen, Haunted, Plunder, and the current Season of the Seraph.

The bonus, which will remain in effect until the end of the current season, will be welcome news for players trying to farm weapon crafting patterns before Lightfall drops in February. Players will still need the required Umbral Engram and Umbral Energy to focus Deep Sight weapons.

Bungie is also increasing Iron Banner rewards when Fortress returns for its second seasonal rotation on January 31. These include a general increase in base reputation earned from each match, with players being able to multiply those rewards even further by wearing Iron Banner armor or equipping an Iron Banner emblem.

Changes to Iron Banner have been implemented to make it easier for players to obtain the coveted Iron Countershade chainmail shader before the end of the season. Bungie ended their announcement of the benefits by encouraging players to “go earn that chainmail shader if you haven’t already!”

All the changes mentioned above will be available from January 31st.
