Centara Hotels & Resorts, Thailand’s leading hotel operator, is pleased to announce the appointment of Tom Pieter Van Tuijl as its new
General Manager of Centara Mirage Resort Mui Ne, a fully integrated resort themed as an ‘Explorer’s Playground’ along the tranquil shoreline with beautiful views of Mui Ne Bay. In his new role, Mr. Tom will be responsible for the strategic management and operation of the resort’s 984 exclusive Mediterranean-designed rooms and villas.
Before joining centara Hotels & Resorts, he was the General Manager of FLC Hotels & Resorts, responsible for FLC SamSon Beach & Golf Resort and FLC Halong Bay Golf Club & Luxury Resort. Before that, she worked for the iconic Lotte Hotel in Hanoi. Earlier in his career, he worked for Sheraton, a Marriott brand, in both Africa and Europe in a variety of management roles. His experience spans both room and food and beverage management, innovative restaurant and bar concepts, large resort operations, pre-openings, team development and brand management. One of his main achievements is developing local teams at larger properties, ensuring a seamless integration of guest satisfaction and profitability.
Mr Tom has a BA in Hotel Management from Hotelschool The Hague.
With his precise knowledge, strong passion and more than 20 years of extensive With experience in the luxury hotel management industry, including 7 years of experience in Vietnam working at leading hotel groups such as FLC Hotels & Resorts, Lotte Hotels & Resorts and Marriott International, Mr. Tom is expected to bring a wind of change to Centara Mirage Resort Mui Ne with attractive resort programs and activities that continuously contribute to the success of the resort and improve the quality of its services.
