
President Muhammadu Buhari he has vowed to serve Nigerians to the best of his ability, as he promised during the campaigns.
He is making the new pledge less than six months from the end of his term.
Speaking as he paid tribute to Bauchi Emir Rilwanu Adamu on Monday, Buhari recalled visiting all local governments in Nigeria, where he vowed to serve the country.
He said; “In 2003 and 2012, I visited all 774 local government areas in this country, and in 2019, when I was running for my second term, I visited every state.
“So there, I made the promise and the promise that I will serve Nigeria and the Nigerians to the best of my ability.”
For his part, the monarch praised Buhari for his visit and called on politicians to avoid bitterness in politics.
