EMEA: Hotel brand management company SH Hotels & Resorts appoints Robert Koren as Senior Vice President and Area Managing Director of Europe, Middle East and Africa.
SH Hotels & Resorts has announced the launch of a European corporate office led by Koren. He is the new senior vice president and area managing director of Europe, the Middle East and Africa, where the group plans to expand.
Koren will oversee the operations, development and owner relations of the hotels and resorts in the region. It will deal specifically with the launch of Skt Petri Copenhagen, which is being converted into 1 Hotel Copenhagen, as well as 1 Hotel Mayfair and Treehouse Manchester.
Throughout his international career, Koren has opened hotels such as the St. Regis in New York, Florence, Rome, and the Hotel Cala di Volpe on the Costa Smeralda.
In February 2017, Koren joined Belmond, overseeing properties in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
