A new update has arrived at Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 Y war zone 2, fixing various frustrating bugs and crash issues in Multiplayer, Battle Royale and DMZ. The full patch notes can be seen below, but some highlights include a fix for the annoying chat bug and battle pass issues.
One major change in the update is the much-needed fix for the chat bug that was causing multiple player names to stick around on the screen when talking in chat. This was frustrating because it caused the names to remain frozen in future matches as well, and the only way to fix it was to relaunch the game.
While it may be too late for those who have already completed it, the fixes are finally coming to the Season 1 Battle Pass. Players who still need to finish completing the pass should now experience fewer freezing and navigation issues. The update also introduces a new feature to highlight unspent Battle Pass Tokens.
According to the Infinity Ward patch notes, changes were also made to fix navigation issues and text errors affecting the gunsmith. It also brings a fix for the bug that sometimes caused a player’s screen to go black when exiting the shooting range.
For Warzone 2, the update addresses the exploit that allowed players to gain XP by using a Stim on gas. It also fixes the annoying cargo box bug, which could cause a player to freeze, get disconnected from the game, or experience a loss of functionality after interacting with a cargo box.
Additionally, Infinity Ward says that this update contains several fixes to reduce the number of known glitches in Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2. The full patch notes can be found below, as shared by Infinity Ward.
Season 2 will bring the next major update for both games, including new maps, weapons, and a new battle pass. season 2 too change the Gulag from Al Mazrah to a 1v1 arena. Unfortunately, Activision has announced Season 2 of Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 is now delayed For two weeks. Originally scheduled for February 1, Season 2 will now release on February 15, which the publisher says is to give developers more time to implement changes based on player feedback.
