Mauna Kea Resort Appoints Diana Su as Director of Marketing and Public Relations


Hawaii’s premier destination, Mauna Kea Resort, comprised of the historic Mauna Kea Beach Hotelthe contemporary The Westin Hapuna Spaand luxury vacation rentals and residences in Mauna Kea Residences—is pleased to announce the appointment of Diana do as Director of Marketing and Public Relations for the entire Mauna Kea Resort portfolio.

“We are delighted to welcome Diana to our Mauna Kea ComplexOhana and we are excited to see her passion and creativity enhance our marketing and public relations team,” said Bradley Doell, Director of Sales and Marketing. “His unique skill set and experience in various markets, along with a deep understanding of Hawaii’s diverse culture and history, will help manage our next stage of growth while maintaining our legacy of Hawaiian hospitality.”

With over 20 years of professional experience in marketing and communications, she previously worked for Waikiki Beach Marriott Resort & Spa as a Senior Marketing Manager, where she led marketing and communications Strategies for the relaunch of the resort’s multi-million dollar renovation. Prior to this, she held the position of director of marketing and communications for the Pearlridge Center, the second largest mall in Hawaii, served as head of marketing and public relations at the US Air Force Base in Tokyo, Japan, and has held positions with Starwood Hotels & Resorts and Wyndham Worldwide.

As Director of Marketing and Public Relations at Mauna Kea Resort, do will continue to cement the Mauna Kea brand as a household name and must-visit destination through the implementation of marketing strategies and public relations planning. In her new role, she will also manage property marketing objectives to drive core revenue, build long-term client and community relationships, engage with regional brand marketing and national promotions, develop community awareness content, branding and all internal and external communication via digital presence to promote resort-wide initiatives and maximize exposure of internal business units.

Based on the island of Hawaii‘ia through Honolulu, Oahu, do He is fluent in Mandarin Chinese and it serves on the board of directors of Honolulu Crime Stoppers. in it free time, she enjoys hula dancing, muay thai boxing, canoeing, and spending time with her ‘ohana.
