The 2024 Genesis GV80 Coupe will arrive with a facelift next year


Hyundai’s Genesis luxury brand is preparing an update to its GV80 large SUV, and it’s slated to include a ‘Coupe’ model with a sloping rear roofline.

Images posted on the South Korean social media website autospy show a very camouflaged GV80 with a more dramatic sloping rear roofline, similar to the BMW X6, Mercedes-Benz GLE Coupe and other ‘coupé’ versions of large luxury SUVs.

The camouflage on the rest of the vehicle, and visible changes to the bumpers, lights, and protruding wheels, indicate that the new body style will arrive with the mid-life update for Genesis’ Largest SUV to date.



Based on the timing of those photos, the facelifted GV80 may be unveiled before the end of this year, but it’s not expected to hit Australian showrooms until next year.

If its rivals, and the angle of the rear roofline, are any guide, the GV80 Coupe may lose its third row of seats and become a five-seater only.
