One person was rescued Monday from whitewater in the Otay Lakes community.
Just before 7 a.m., units reported to Otay Lakes Road where a vehicle was found in the water, with the victim on top of the vehicle, according to Cal Fire
The person was rescued, evaluated and released by paramedic teams at the scene, according to fire officials.
