MultiVersus currently offers players the chance to fight as several different characters owned by Warner Bros. Discovery. Naturally, fans are always wondering which fighter will make the cut next, and game director Tony Huynh piqued a lot of curiosity with a recent Tweet. Huynh asked his many followers about the Adventure time character Marceline the Vampire Queen, and what outfit would be her default, should she appear in the game. Huynh was very careful in wording her and repeatedly stated that this is not an indication that she will make the cut as a playable character.
“I’m just curious and I’m not 100% saying she’s in it, but what would be the default outfit for Marceline in MultiVersus? I mean it when I say I’m not saying anything. I was just wondering.” Huynh wrote on Twitter.
Even if Marceline isn’t being planned, the fact that the game director is thinking about how Marceline could be implemented says a lot! It really could just be the fact that Marceline has so many distinctive looks that fans love, which would make it difficult for First player games make any kind of decision about it. It’s a lot easier for characters like Shaggy, Batman, and even Finn and Jake, but that question is a lot harder for a character like Marceline!
For now, MultiVersus fans will have to make do with the current list, but Player First Games has really kept fans on their toes with these kinds of suggestions over the past few weeks. Earlier this month, Senior Character Artist Dan Eder dropped a big hint about adding Walter White to the rosteralthough breaking bad is not a property of Warner Bros. Discovery. Maybe the Player First Games team is just trying to keep fans speculating, but if that’s the case, all these tips are working!
