Now in Malaysia and priced at RM14,998 is the 2023 Aveta VZR250 sports bike. The price does not include road tax, insurance and registration, and there are colors available for the VZR250: Jet Black, Firebird Red and Air Force Blue.
Power for the VZR250 comes from a liquid-cooled DIHC single-cylinder mill that displaces 250cc. Powered by EFI, the engine power is rated at 25.4 bhp at 9,000 rpm with 21 Nm of torque at 7,000 rpm.
A six-speed gearbox equipped with a slipper clutch and chain final drive transmits power to the rear wheel. The suspension is made with conventional telescopic forks at the front, non-adjustable, with a preload-adjustable monoshock at the rear.
Braking on the VZR250 is done with two hydraulic discs at the front wheel and a single disc at the rear. ABS is not fitted to the VZR250, instead a combined braking system is used that acts on a brake disc both at the front and at the rear.
Tire sizes for the VZR are 110/70-17 in the front and 150/70-17 in the rear. 14 liters of fuel are carried in the tank with the VZR250 tipping the scales at 186kg.
