Rio Ferdinand, a Manchester United star, chose Arsenal’s Bukayo Saka over Manchester City’s Riya Mahrez as the man who poses the biggest threat to play.
Ferdinand believes that Saka poses a greater threat to the opponent due to his pace, adding that Mahrez is crazy.
Saka and Mahrez are in scoring form for their respective clubs so far this season.
The duo are expected to face each other when Arsenal and Man City meet in the FA Cup four-round tie later this month.
“If I had to play one or the other, I would rather play Mahrez than Saka, because [of] Saka’s rhythm,” Rio Ferdinand said on the FIVE YouTube channel.
“For me, as a defender, if he was going to play full-back, he would want to go through you all the time.
“He’s always a threat to go after you, while Mahrez takes little breathers in games.
“Listen, Mahrez is crazy. In terms of hiring, either way, he is one of the most efficient and effective.”
