After announcing its plans for the 2023 season yesterday, today Riot Games has delivered all the details about League of Legends patch 13.1 that will kick off the new year.
Jayce is the Champion who benefits the most from LoL patch 13.1, as two of his special moves while in hammer form will receive damage buffs, which Riot says is happening “to help balance out their stances.” Another 13 champions are receiving changes, a list that includes the following:
- Dr. Mundo will see a decrease in base health and armor growth, but the bonus attack damage from his Blunt Force Trauma ability will be increased.
- Jax is getting a full mid-range upgrade that will affect all abilities, with his ult receiving the most attention.
- Yuumi’s Tier 1 Terrorist Support Marauding Projectile Attack is dulling its damage.
Items affected by the LoL 13.1 patch include the Rod of Ages, Archangel’s Staff/Seraph’s Embrace combo, and Horizon Focus. One change of note in particular is Jak’Sho, the Protean item, which has had some proportions changed to make it less overbearing for Fighting class champions.
Finally, the patch will add the following skins and Chromas to the pool of skins that can be earned:
- Lunar Emperor/Empress
- moon guardian
- myth maker
- Gallium
- garen
- irelia
- sivir
- zyra
- Prestige
- Lysandra Porcelain
- The mythmaker Sivir
League of Legends is available to download now on PC, and those with a Game Pass for PC subscription can unlock all the champions for free. The League of Legends 13.1 patch will go live on January 11, and the full patch notes can be found here. here.
