Coronavirus kills 2 more patients in Iran – Iran Front Page


The death toll from the coronavirus pandemic in Iran rose to 144,708 with two more patients dying from the deadly disease in the past 24 hours, Iran’s Health Ministry announced on Sunday.

Two more Iranians have died from the coronavirus in the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 144,708, Iran’s Health Ministry said on Sunday.

117 new cases of infection with COVID-19 were found in the last 24 hours, 62 of which were hospitalized, it added.

The Iranian Ministry of Health noted that 7,336,443 patients out of a total of 7,561,925 infected people have recovered or been discharged from hospitals.

157 COVID-19 patients are in critical condition and in intensive care units, it added.

The Iranian Ministry of Health also announced that 65,161,138 Iranians have received the first dose and 58,569,814 people have so far received the second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.

In addition, 31,495,315 people have also received the third or fourth blow as reinforcement.
