PlayStation Plus subscriptions are now cheaper, but only for some subscribers, or rather potential subscribers. Right now, two of the three versions of PS Plus, PS Plus Extra and PS Plus Premium, are discounted by 30 to 40 percent via the official PlayStation website. However, there are some pitfalls. The first is that this is only available when you buy three or 12 months of the subscription service. There is no such offer for a single month of PS Plus. The other problem, which is going to put a lot of people off, is that it’s only for new subscribers. Not only can existing subscribers not accumulate, but if you have subscribed in the past, the offer is not available, even if your subscription has expired and you are not currently active.
As always, this is a limited time offer. Specifically, this offer is only available to redeem until January 13. That is, for five more days from the moment of its publication. Don’t worry if you don’t have the funds right now, though, as these types of deals happen a few times a year.
For those interested in the price, 12 months of Playstation Plus Premium is now $79.99 instead of $119.99. Meanwhile, three months are $34.99 instead of $49.99. As for PlayStation Plus Extra, 12 months is now $59.99 instead of $99.99, while three months is $24.99 instead of $39.99. And then there’s PlayStation Plus Essential, which is by no means for sale.
