Former Trade and Industry Minister Alan John Kwadwo Kyerementeng has said that he will address the people of Ghana soon after his resignation.
He says he has been overwhelmed by the support he has received since the announcement of his resignation.
In a statement shared via his social media, he said: “I would like to thank HE the President for the opportunity to serve and for graciously accepting my resignation as Cabinet Minister responsible for Trade and Industry, effective January 16, 2023. .
I sincerely appreciate the support of my family, colleagues, my party, the PNP, the international community and the general public during my tenure as Minister.
I will address the people of Ghana in the next few days.
God bless you!”
Alan Kyerementeng has been tipped as one of the people who will compete in the PNP primary to represent the party as its 2024 standard bearer.
