KL Police offer 50% discount on saman for three days next week, from January 10 to 12. Payments can be made at Balai Polis Trafik Jalan Tun HS Lee in the city, from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.
JSPT KL says that the half price offer is applicable to saman excluding those related to traffic lights, emergency lane, double-file overtaking, dangerous overtaking/queue cutting, accidents, non-compound (NC), legal proceedings, exhaust modification and those involving heavy vehicles/trucks.
PDRM’s traffic investigation and enforcement department says that to get the discount, one must be present at Jalan Tun HS Lee and pay in cash or cards (cash is recommended to avoid potential issues with the commercial terminal). If you are paying online using MiBayar Saman, you will need to obtain a discount barcode at the location. No discount for payments through MyEG.
JSPT KL offer is for saman from all over the country, and not just those broadcast in KL. Representatives are allowed if you are lining up to pay on the spot, but those using MyBayar Saman will need to be present. Great opportunity to wipe the slate clean at half price!
