How to unlock the Slash XVI
To unlock Slash XVI, you will need to play as Lama and reach level 50 with this character. When you have enabled Arcanas during Stage Select and choose the Slash, it allows critical hits for Axe, Death Spiral, Knife, Thousand Edge, and Whip. It will also double critical damage, which affects the weapons listed above, but also these: Bloody Tear, Fulwalafuwaloo, Heaven Sword, Muramasa, and Sacred Wind.
According to the game, the official description for Arcana is: “Allows critical hits for listed weapons. Doubles the overall critical damage.
The arcana are optional to play; they can be enabled or disabled during stage selection. Arcana modify gameplay in different ways, depending on which arcana are selected. You can select up to three arcana during a run, and you can choose the first out of all possible arcana, but the second and third will be selected from a random pool of four. These additional arcana are rewards in treasure chests from specific bosses.
