In his next book, Spare, prince harry is shedding a lot of light on his relationship with prince william – and dragging princess kate in the mix.

Us Weekly can exclusively reveal that the 38-year-old prince is referring to William’s April 2011 wedding to Kate as “yet another farewell under this horrible roof” and “another separation”.

“The brother I escorted to Westminster Abbey that morning was gone, forever. Who could deny it? he writes he “He would never go back to being a main Willy first. Never again would we ride together through the Lesotho countryside with our cloaks billowing behind us. We would never again share a horse-scented cabin while learning to fly. Who will separate us? Life, that’s who.”

Harry adds that the “ceremony is mostly a blank space in my mind” since he doesn’t remember much about being his brother’s best man. He notes that he can remember Kate walking down the hall while she looked “amazing”.

“And I remember Willy walking her back down the aisle, and as they disappeared out the door, into the carriage that would take them to Buckingham Palace, to the everlasting partnership they had promised, I remember thinking: Goodbye,” she writes.

As he previously confirmed to us, the former military pilot doesn’t hold back when it comes to his rocky relationship with the Duke of Cambridge in Spare, which falls on Tuesday, January 10. In another passage, Harry details an alleged physical fight with Williamstating that the eldest prince “hit [him] to the floor” in 2019. The altercation originated when William referred to Harry’s wife Meghan Markle as “difficult” and “rude”.

Harry writes that his shirt was torn, his necklace was broken and he called his therapist after the heated argument because William asked him not to tell Meghan.

“We had had a million physical fights in our lives. … As children we had done nothing but fight. But this felt different,” she writes.

Harry and Meghan, who share son Archie, 3, and daughter Lilibet, 19 months, announced their plans to step back from their roles as senior members of the royal family in January 2020. They subsequently moved to California and continued documenting his “freedom” from the royal family in the six-part Netflix series docuseries, Harry & Meghan, last month.

With the Duke of Sussex’s family keeping quiet about the book’s and show’s claims, Harry has begun to push for his memoir. I would like to have my father [King Charles III] back, I would like to have my brother back,” he admitted in a preview for his interview on ITV, which airs on Sunday, January 8. “[But] They have shown absolutely no willingness to reconcile.”

Spare will be released on Tuesday, January 10.
