One of Destiny 2’s legacy exotics has been disabled, as Bungie says it has identified an issue with the weapon and is currently working to fix it. No idea what the actual issue is, but the problem likely lies with the new Jade Rabbit exotic perks that were introduced last week as part of a major weapon change in Destiny 2.
We have identified an issue with the Jade Rabbit Exotic Scout Rifle and have temporarily disabled the weapon until a fix can be implemented.

A scout rifle that occupies the Kinetic class on a player’s loadout, Jade Rabbit’s new ability focuses on accuracy and consistency. Quickly landing three critical hits returns a round to the magazine and allows the next body hit to deal more damage, and players can stack up to three of these enhanced body rounds. This buff resets if you reload, but in PvP, the Jade Rabbit has fascinating utility with the right build.
Exotics going offline are a fairly common occurrence in Destiny 2. The new Titan Exotic from Season of Plunder, Point contact barrel reinforcement, was unavailable for several days after the release of the new season. there is also the Telesto Exotic Fusion Riflewho has a long history of breaking Destiny 2’s sandbox and going on a power trip that Bungie’s social media managers can’t contain.
Season of the Seraph is off to a relatively smooth start, though there will likely be a few patches to do in the coming weeks that are par for the course in Destiny 2. If you’re looking to get started on seasonal activities, you can read up on how to complete the Spire of the Watcher dungeon, how to open resonance amp chestsY how to get seraph key codes.
