His words lack integrity: GMA’s Frank Serebour descends on Akufo-Addo

Ghana Medical Association (GMA) President Dr Frank Serebour criticized President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo for a lack of integrity in what he communicates to Ghanaians and the realities that exist.

Speaking with Kojo Bimpomg Marfo on the Abusua Nkomo morning show monitored by MyNewsGh.comhe is concerned about the type of government and the half truths that the president throws about the economy.

Referring to recent national speeches by Nana Addo, Dr Serebour noted that the president assures Ghanaians of “no haircuts”, a condition used to describe the far-reaching consequences of the current economic hardship and how it will affect the citizenry. .

President Akufo-Addo assured the Ghanaians that such a thing would not happen, as it was the opposition NDC that was speculating and preaching doom.

However, the situation is different from the president’s position, since Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta announced this week the government’s decision to implement a debt swap program that could have far-reaching repercussions, even affecting investments, pensions and other investments of people. .

This GMA president said he’s not happy.

“For a president to come and tell you there will be no cuts, I am very disappointed that he would tell us there will be no freeze on public sector jobs and then all of a sudden this is looking at us. Where is the integrity of his words? This government is not sacrificing itself, why do they want us to sacrifice ourselves, we (GMA) are willing to make the industrial front ungovernable if they do not change their attitude”

“Look at the size of the government, how many people are working in the flagpole house, my ministry, the health ministry, how many people are there as ministers, why are they overloading us? she lamented.
