How to Change Ammo Type in Zero Sievert
To change the type of ammo in Zero Sievert, you just need to press the “Y” key on your keyboard. This will show you what options are available to you and allow you to select new ones for your current weapon. Use the wheel on your mouse or the up and down arrows on your keyboard to scroll through them.

As you can see on the screenshot, it will display all usable ammo for your currently equipped weapon. It also tells you the amount of that particular ammo, which is useful for knowing which one you’ll need to quickly switch to in the heat of battle.
It’s important to be ready to change your ammo if you’re running low on the one you’re currently using. Once it is depleted, your weapon will not automatically switch to another set of usable bullets. You have to change it manually, which means pressing the “Y” button and selecting another option.
