Both parties identified biotechnology, renewable energy, tourism, agriculture, livestock, health, education, sports and culture as sectors of common interest.
Díaz-Canel thanked Erdogan, on behalf of the people of Cuba “for Türkiye’s support for the demand to end the policy of economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the United States on the island.
We will conclude our visit with great optimism in the future of relations between Türkiye and Cuba, and absolute confidence that they will continue to strengthen and expand for the benefit of both peoples, the Cuban president affirmed.
