LThe administrative definition for the bonus allocation for electric vehicles is simple: display and level of CO emissions.2 below 20 g/km. Why not zero, since local electricity sources do not emit carbon dioxide? This is to allow vehicles with an emergency range extender (e.g. BMW i3 Rex), or even those with warm heating for very cold weather, fall into this category. But since then things have changed, and BMW no longer offers this version that is capable of recharging when needed using the scooter engine as a generator.
