Heart's Desire is moderately spicy, fast paced, and the characters have complex motivations, to say the least. They are not your perfecty romance characters either. Think soap opera high drama with a touch of ironic humor. The book is tongue-in-cheek, a subtle play on overtly soap-operaish romances, which I think are funny and enjoy when I'm in the mood.
